B2B online store Magitalia.bg, based on Magento and Cypho B2B Theme

Mag Italia is an importer, distributor, and retailer of Italian fast-moving consumer goods – food products, beverages, detergents and cleaning agents, as well as cosmetics from prestigious brands. The company operates both in retail through its physical store in Sofia and in wholesale, serving a large number of B2B clients – restaurants, hotels, and stores.
With the goal of modernizing and digitizing its B2B commerce, Mag Italia was looking for a solution to automate sales processes and optimize its operations with wholesale clients – business customers, sales representatives, and distributors. The company needed a stable and efficient online platform that meets the following key requirements:

  • Automation of B2B processes – digitalizing sales operations and making order placement easier for clients.
  • Integration with an ERP system – synchronizing stock availability and dynamic pricing.
  • Control of pricing information – public product catalog with restricted prices visible only to registered users.
  • Stability and scalability – a reliable platform capable of handling high traffic and supporting future growth.

The Stenik team developed a B2B platform based on Magento, in which we implemented the following functionalities:

  • Modern and intuitive interface, based on the Stenik Cypho B2B Theme and adapted to the needs of Mag Italia and the B2B segment.
  • Custom main navigation – top navigation, mega menu, and enhanced breadcrumbs to ensure easier user navigation on the site.
  • Advanced search based on Elastic Search for fast and accurate item discovery.
  • Extended filters with multi-select capabilities.
  • Public product catalog and hiding prices for unregistered users.
  • Listing of all available brands in alphabetical order and a detailed page for each, leading to the category with products of the respective brand.
  • Option for submitting a client account registration request.
  • Individual pricing conditions applied to registered and logged-in users (legal entities).
  • Option to assign a B2B client to a specific sales group.
  • Restrictions on payment methods depending on the client group – for loyal customers and large orders.
  • Specific logic for selling products by carton only.
  • Display of unit price and carton price on the product detail page.
  • Support for multiple client accounts with different ordering permissions.
  • Order history, multiple delivery addresses, and option to re-order.
  • Quick order by product code through uploading a list of items.
  • AJAX cart update and dynamic free delivery notification.
  • Option to add labels to products – organic, chilled, frozen food, and others.
  • Deferred payment method available only to specific client groups.
  • Integration with UBB vPOS (Borica) for secure online payments.
  • Delivery options: Click & Collect (pickup from warehouse) and delivery by merchant transport.
  • Wishlist and requisition lists for quickly adding frequently purchased items.
  • Newsletter subscription management.
  • GDPR compliance and ability to manage cookie consent.

The new B2B platform – magitalia.bg, successfully automates sales processes, simplifies ordering, and improves the service provided to Mag Italia’s B2B clients.
