The calculator can be customized to match the online store’s design and configured for different product groups (attribute sets) - tiles, granite tiles, carpets, linoleum, laminate, grass coverings, etc., as well as for products sold per package.

How does the calculator work in online stores?
Stenik Unit Calculator can be configured for any number of calculators in a single online store, depending on product specifics. Different calculation methods are also possible:
Pack quantity calculator
- The customer enters the desired area (sq.m) or number of packs/boxes.
- The calculator automatically determines the required packs or square meters based on the entered data.
- The final price is calculated dynamically, based on the entered values.
- There is an option to set a minimum order quantity based on the packaging size of the product (e.g. a box of tiles = 0.72 sq.m).
The calculator can have different designs.
Linear meter calculator
- The customer sees a fixed width (defined for the product based on its specifications). For example, 4 meters.
- They enter the desired length or area.
- The calculator automatically determines the required length or square meters, based on the input.
- The final price is displayed, calculated from the entered parameters.
Linear meter calculator for configurable products with variations
- The customer selects the width from a dropdown menu (e.g. 3 m, 4 m, 5 m, etc.).
- They enter the desired length or directly the area.
- The calculator computes the total area and final price based on the selected width and entered parameters.
Custom calculators
Support for configurations with additional parameters based on the product specifics, fully customized to the merchant’s needs.
Rounding option for entered values
Stenik Unit Calculator supports an option for rounding the quantities/values entered by the user (sq.m, linear meters, pack count, etc.). It can be configured in two ways, depending on business needs:
- Forced rounding – the system automatically adjusts the user’s input to the closest valid value based on the product specifications (e.g. one box).
- Recommended rounding (with notification only) – the user receives a prompt that the entered quantity does not match the pack/box size, etc.
