In 2024, eCommerce Academy is launching a new social initiative called "Meet the Future," aimed at the younger generation studying "E-commerce." As part of this project, on October 2nd, Dimitar Dimitrov, a partner at Stenik and a former graduate of the National Trade and Banking High School (NTBHS), gave an inspiring presentation to 11th and 12th-grade students. The topic, "Why is it important to understand e-commerce?" immediately sparked the audience's interest and engaged students studying "E-commerce" and "Economic Informatics."
Connecting with the roots: The path from NTBHS to a successful career in eCommerce
Dimitar’s presentation introduced students to the fundamental principles of e-commerce and included his personal story of how he began his career and the journey he took from being a student at NTBHS to where he is today. He shared how the knowledge and skills acquired in high school helped him build his professional path in one of the most dynamic sectors of the digital economy.
Dimitar focused on the main types of e-commerce, its role in the modern economy, and the challenges online merchants face today. His presentation expanded students' understanding of how online commerce is conducted and what it takes to succeed in the online business.
